Barnburgh and Harlington
Why Live Anywhere Else?

Welcome to the Barnburgh and Harlington Branch of the Mothers Union

The Mothers' Union is a Christian organisation which promotes the well-being of families worldwide.

We achieve this by:

  • developing prayer and spiritual growth in families,
  • studying and reflecting on family life and marriage and their place in society,
  • resourcing our members to take practical action to improve conditions for families, both nationally and in the communities in which they live.

We are always looking for new members, Please contact us

February  News
Here we are in February already; we have had our first meeting of 2008 and looking at my new diary, its pages are filling up with meetings and outings - how time flies along. I turned a page and noted that Lent starts on the 6th of February; very early this year; why, we seem to have only just started the year!

You will be pleased to know that the Bishop of Sheffield sent a letter in reply to the cheque we sent for flood relief - the results of our fund raising coffee morning in 2007.

We plan to continue fund raising for local issues and this month will be having a Coffee Morning in aid of the Aurora Centre at the Montagu Hospital. They do such good work helping people get through difficult treatment.
