Carnival Committee

Annual Village Carnival

Each year the villagers of Barnburgh and Harlington hold a carnival on Church Lane 'Recreation Ground.' This fete has been happening for many years and has had several locations over the years.

The carnival happens because of the combined effort of some very dedicated local people.  They would dearly love your support, not just on the day but in the weeks and months leading up to the big day!

If you can spare a few hours and would like to contribute to the annual event please offer your services via the 'Clerk to the Parish Council' who can pass your details on to the committee members.

The committee would like to hear  from any groups who would like to show off their skills in front of a large audience.   Perhaps you would like to have a stall at the Fete to raise money for your favourite charity or to sell your wares.  If you want to take part on the day contact the  'Clerk to the Parish Council  Mr John Palmer. phone on 01709 879065 or by email
